How About Technology

The availability of enabling technology is increasing just as quickly as the price is decreasing. Increase in levels of safety and security have increased and this has led to the increase in accessibility to on-line banking services. All of these essential business necessities are now in place and way beyond the beta stage.

Broadband and wireless Internet connections are readily available and have the advantage of being ‘nailed up’ thus allowing fast interchange of data and files between organizations involved in mutual trade.

All of this has created monumental changes in the demands of both customers and suppliers. Changes in demands equate to raised levels of expectation. Speed is the new name of the game and customers can go anywhere in the world they want in order to get it.

The same applies to suppliers. They want to deal with customers who have up-to-the-minute slick ordering and paying systems. Accounts receivable is now a thing of the very distant past. Fast interaction means fast delivery and that has become the watchword in the fast paced virtual e-business world.
